A private family in Pittsburgh is seeking a calm, attentive, and highly responsible Family Assistant to support the daily rhythm of their home while providing dedicated care for two young puppies.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a well-kept household environment and has a natural ability to care for animals while maintaining a peaceful, organized home. The right candidate will bring strong observational skills, respect for fine surroundings, and a thoughtful approach to household support.
The position also provides meaningful support to the household during a time when the family would benefit from reliable daily assistance.
Primary Responsibilities:
Puppy Care & Enrichment:
- Provide attentive daytime care for two puppies.
- Reinforce basic training routines and potty schedules.
- Ensure puppies receive consistent social interaction and stimulation.
- Monitor behavior and support healthy development.
Household Stewardship:
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-kept home environment.
- Demonstrate careful attention around fine art, antiques, and collectibles.
- Keep common areas tidy and organized throughout the day.
Household Support:
- Provide general household assistance to support the family’s daily needs.
- Help reduce day-to-day stress for the household through reliable logistical support.
- Assist with light tasks that help the home run smoothly.

Requirements:
