Facilities Technician - FTAP#01

Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: Elmhurst, IL
Type: Contract
Pay: $25–$27/hr

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a reliable Facilities Technician to support building operations, perform maintenance, and ensure a safe, efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
• Conduct inspections and complete basic repairs (lighting, leaks, filters, adjustments)
• Respond to work orders and troubleshoot facility issues
• Assist with general upkeep (painting, carpentry, mechanical room organization)
• Support vendors and participate in on-call/emergency response
• Document maintenance activities and track inventory
• Follow safety protocols (PPE, lockout/tagout) and collaborate with team

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of facilities/maintenance experience
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems
• Skilled with hand/power tools and troubleshooting
• Familiar with work order systems and basic computer use
• Able to work independently in varied environments
• Strong communication and time-management skills
