Our client, a leading provider in building maintenance and facility management, is seeking a Facilities Technician 3 to join their team. As a Facilities Technician 3, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Facilities Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Highland Heights, OH

Pay Rate: $35 -38/hr

What's the Job?

  • Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in assigned facilities to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Perform routine inspections and repairs on interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting.
  • Manage and troubleshoot facility equipment on all HVAC/R systems, electrical, and plumbing to minimize downtime and improve energy efficiency.
  • Document maintenance activities, update work orders in real-time, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in safety trainings, hazard assessments, and maintain a safe, clean work environment at all times.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of five (5) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a focus on HVAC/R, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Universal EPA 608 Certification.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading or supervising a team is preferred.
  • Ability to work in adverse conditions, climb ladders up to 30 ft., and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending.
