Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all facilities maintenance operations, including preventive and reactive repairs for plant infrastructure and critical production support systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, environmental (HSE) regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
- Develop, manage, and monitor the facilities budget, including procurement, contract negotiation, and cost control for services and supplies.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute facility improvement projects, renovations, expansions, and equipment installations to support manufacturing goals.
- Optimize facility layout, space utilization, and workflow to enhance operational efficiency and employee safety within the manufacturing plant.
- Oversee utility management, energy conservation programs, and waste management initiatives to promote sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience managing facilities operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and production support infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage facility projects, budgets, and external vendors effectively.
- In-depth understanding of OSHA, environmental regulations, and building codes applicable to manufacturing.
- Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and preventative maintenance strategies.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar.
- Proficiency in CAD or BIM software for facility layout and planning.
