This position plays a key role in maintaining operational reliability across a 24/7 environment and supports long-term facility performance through strategic planning and preventative maintenance.

This position plays a key role in maintaining operational reliability across a 24/7 environment and supports long-term facility performance through strategic planning and preventative maintenance.

Location/Schedule: This role supports a 24/7 operation and may require occasional after-hours, weekend, or holiday work to respond to urgent facility needs. This position is eligible for a cell phone stipend.
Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Leads facilities operations across the assigned region by managing maintenance programs, vendor relationships, and capital planning while ensuring all properties meet safety and compliance standards.
- Provide leadership to direct reports, including hiring, training, and development
- Coordinate and execute maintenance, repair, and enhancement projects
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance
- Evaluate equipment and services to optimize performance and cost efficiency
- Establish and enforce maintenance standards and best practices
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including RFP processes
You’ll be a great fit for this adventure if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in facilities, property management, or a related field with strong operational knowledge
- 1+ years of leadership experience with a focus on team development and performance management
- Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and service providers
- Strong understanding of maintenance systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fuel systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
- The Maverik Spirit – you’re a clear communicator, team player, and problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Bonus points if you also bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in retail, fuel, or multi-site operations environments
- Advanced knowledge of preventative maintenance planning and capital budgeting
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range:$95k - $115K/year. + DOE and Bonus Opportunities
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
