This role leads regional facilities operations, ensuring all Maverik locations are safe, compliant, and running efficiently. The Manager, Facilities oversees maintenance, repairs, inspections, and enhancement projects while managing vendor partnerships and budgets. This position plays a key role in maintaining operational reliability across a 24/7 environment and supports long-term facility performance through strategic planning and preventative maintenance.

Location/Schedule: This role supports a 24/7 operation and may require occasional after-hours, weekend, or holiday work to respond to urgent facility needs. This position is eligible for a cell phone stipend.
 
Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Leads facilities operations across the assigned region by managing maintenance programs, vendor relationships, and capital planning while ensuring all properties meet safety and compliance standards.
  • Provide leadership to direct reports, including hiring, training, and development
  • Coordinate and execute maintenance, repair, and enhancement projects
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance
  • Evaluate equipment and services to optimize performance and cost efficiency
  • Establish and enforce maintenance standards and best practices
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including RFP processes
 
You’ll be a great fit for this adventure if you have:
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities, property management, or a related field with strong operational knowledge
  • 1+ years of leadership experience with a focus on team development and performance management
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and service providers
  • Strong understanding of maintenance systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fuel systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance ticketing systems such as ServiceNow

Bonus points if you also bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in retail, fuel, or multi-site operations environments
  • Advanced knowledge of preventative maintenance planning and capital budgeting
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range:$95k - $115K/year. + DOE and Bonus Opportunities
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
