Facilities Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for grounds keeping and day-to-day service and maintenance of all structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other systems/equipment serving the property in order to obtain the most efficient operating results and life expectancy. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned interior and exterior areas, including parking lot, walls and flooring, installed fixtures, lighting, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Building and Grounds: Maintain the building systems and grounds including, but not limited to the following: Safety equipment inspections, HVAC filter inspection/replacement, doors, light plumbing, infrastructure, lawn irrigation lot cleanliness.
• Troubleshooting: Identify the cause of facility problems and if appropriate, resolve the maintenance issue without engaging third party vendors.
• Refer all activities related to licensed contractor work to the appropriate internal resource.
• Observe and comply with all company safety policies, all state building codes, and federal safety standards.
• Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
• Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive group brand.
• Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree or technical, vocational or on-the-job training in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, or plumbing or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening
• Authorization to work in the USA
