HireCall is seeking a dependable Fabricator Shop Helper with experience in deburring, grinding and drill press. This role focuses on removing burrs, applying proper surface finishes, and assisting with aircraft and component assembly in a manufacturing environment.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Extended hours may be required
- Compensation: $16 per hour
- Location: East Broken Arrow
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Deburr fabricated, machined, and manufactured components made from various alloys
- Apply surface finishes per blueprint specifications and finish callouts
- Perform aircraft component assembly, including rivet installation
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Use calipers and other measuring equipment to verify dimensions
- Operate shop equipment including:
- Plasma cutter
- Drill press
- Grinders
- Shears, metal cutting
- Multiple types of welders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work as a team to meet production and quality goals
Qualifications
- Experience in deburring and aircraft assembly
- Optional technical school training preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs multiple times throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
- Ability to use hand, air and power tools
