Work Tasks to be performed

• Hand thinning and shoot thinning fruit trees
• Training of fruit trees (clipping, tying, and limb positioning)
• Pruning of fruit trees
• Provide general labor in the orchard properties
• Provide assistance in the establishment and maintenance of orchard properties by operating equipment.
• Planting trees, harvesting nursery trees,
• Trellis installation
• Installing/spring opening/fall closing of shade cloth, bird netting, and/or windscreen.
• Operating and maintenance of irrigation systems.
• Install, maintain, and operate irrigation systems and waterlines.
• Occasional operation of mechanical equipment

Job Requirements

• 3 months of verifiable tree fruit farm work experience.
• Must anticipate being available to work the entire contract period.
• Able to lift 60 lbs. repeatedly throughout the

 day.

• Must anticipate being available to work on the start date and through the period of the contract.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking.

The employer will furnish, without charge, tools, supplies and protective equipment required to perform the specifiedwork.

Crop and Pay

   This is an application forthinning/Pruning of trees

   and vines and farmwork/laborer duties. Hourly wage is

   $17.13/hr. for nonimmigrant H-2A workers in

   employer provided housing and $19.00/hr. for all

   other workers or piece rate, the agreed upon collective

   bargaining wage. The payroll period shall be weekly.

Piece rate is as follows:

   Thinning/Pruning/Training:

• Fruit Trees/Vines - $17.13/hour or $19.00/hour

   General Laborer:

• Farm labor - $17.13/hour or $19.00/hour

Period of Employment

From: 03/30/2026to 11/14/2026Employer guarantees to offer employment for the hourly equivalent of 3/4 or 75% of the workdays of the work contract beginning with the first day of work. Employer will accept referrals until  07/23/26.

Work Schedule
6 hours per day Monday to Friday and 5 hours on Saturday. It is the prevailing practice to work more or different hours than those listed. The worker may be offered, but not required, to work more hours.

Transportation

The employer will provide the housing without charge to the worker.

Where the employer provides the meals, the job offer will state the charge to the worker for such meals is $16.28 per day per worker.
