KIT is actively recruiting Exterior Siding Installers for our production facility in Caldwell, Idaho.  For over 70 years, KIT Home Builders has been perfecting the art of building quality, affordable, and customizable manufactured homes in Idaho. Responsibilities:
  • Install exterior siding, remove & install gutters and downspouts
  • Install soffit and facia as well as wrap windows and doors
  • Previous experience as a carpenter or siding installer preferred
  • Knowledge of trim carpentry techniques and tools
Requirements:
  • Previous experience with installing siding or related construction work is required
    • Please list this experience in your application
  • Experience with Hardie lap siding and OSB, vertical siding (T-11)
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
  • Proficiency in using power tools and operating heavy equipment
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Regular attendance is a critical part of all positions at KIT.  Must be available to consistently work the required business hours without tardiness, interruption, or early departure, as well as any required Saturday or later evening overtime.
