What Youll Do: As a Piece Rate Roofer, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with team members to prepare for roofing projects, ensuring all materials and tools are ready.
- Performing roof installations according to established specifications and quality standards.
- Transporting materials across the site efficiently and safely.
- Learning and implementing dry-in procedures under experienced supervision.
- Cleaning roof decking and preparing surfaces for new installations.
- Safely and effectively tearing off various types of roofing using hand tools.
- Utilizing essential tools like shovels and pry bars to remove old roofing materials.
- Working comfortably at heights and on ladders as part of your daily tasks.
- Maintaining physical stamina through consistent bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching.
- Disposing of debris in designated containers as directed.
What Youll Bring: The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
- Comfort and experience working at heights and using ladders.
- Physical capability to lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday.
- A valid drivers license is advantageous but not mandatory.
