Experienced Dog Groomer – 30 Hours/Week – No Weekends
Four-Legged Fun Zone
Everett, WA
Strong weekly income shouldn’t require sacrificing your body, your weekends, or your professional authority.
Nor should you feel like a workhorse just to keep someone else’s numbers up by grooming uncooperative dogs.
If this sounds like you, it might be time for a change!
Does this sound like the grooming environment you've been looking for?
- One dog at a time, start to finish — rather than a kennel full of dogs waiting their turn.
- Schedules are protected because income is protected — no "squeezing one more in" at the expense of your sanity.
- Coat condition and time adjustments are respected — professional decisions are supported, not questioned.
- A cancellation means working a waitlist or using the time productively — not a moment of panic.
- Consistency over pressure — clients rebook because they’ve built a relationship with their groomer, not because they’re being sold to.
- A calm, steady workflow — replacing the noise and the chaos of high-volume grooming.
Four-Legged Fun Zone was built to check every one of those boxes. Maintaining this standard requires a team-oriented environment where we provide the tools to make "quality over quantity" a reality. From an electric table, groomer helper to dedicated receptionist who handle the phones and cleaning, we ensure you can focus on the craft.
The Investment in Our Team
We believe professional standards deserve professional compensation.
- Yearly Wage: $60,000 – $80,000 based on 30 hours per week
- Tips: 100% yours.
- Stability: W-2 employment with a monthly health stipend (for 30+ hours/week).
- Growth: A referral bonus of 5% of what your referred clients spend in their first year.
Who Fits Our Culture
To maintain our stress-free, one-on-one environment, we look for professionals who value stability and safety as much as we do:
- Experience: At least 1 year of professional, solo grooming experience.
- Stability: You’ve spent at least 12 consecutive months with a single company (we value long-term client relationships).
- Physical Safety: Comfort handling large breeds (60–175 lbs) and the ability to safely lift 50 lbs. You’ll groom at least one large dog daily, with the authority to cap your own schedule beyond that.
- Logistics: You live within 30 minutes of our Everett facility and can pass a federal background check.
- Communication: You enjoy clear, friendly interactions with the clients who trust you with their pets.
