Sweet Butter Kitchen is a high-volume caf and bakery in Sherman Oaks. We ve recently rebuilt our coffee program with Old Topanga Coffee Co. and installed a new 3-group La Marzocco Strada. We re looking for another experienced barista to add to our amazing team.
What you ll do
- Dial in espresso and maintain consistency throughout service
- Steam milk with proper texture and temperature
- Keep the bar clean, organized, and efficient
- Communicate clearly during busy rushes
- Provide warm, efficient hospitality
What we re looking for
- 3+ years barista experience in a busy caf
- Comfortable dialing in and adjusting espresso
- Strong milk and workflow fundamentals
- Reliable, calm, and team-oriented
- Interest in classic, well-executed coffee (not novelty for novelty s sake)
