Executive Personal Assistant for a Private Family Office (Northbrook, IL)

A private Family Office is seeking a polished, proactive, and highly organized Executive Personal Assistant (EPA) to provide primary support to the principal and light support to additional family members and Family Office leadership. This is an ideal role for a seasoned assistant who thrives in a dynamic environment requiring discretion, reliability, and anticipatory service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex personal and professional calendars, including coordination with school and activity schedules.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including private aviation arrangements.
- Support scheduling for Family Office executives.
- Screen calls and manage communications.
- Partner with household staff and the Property Manager for vendor coordination and household needs.
- Complete monthly insurance and credit card reconciliation and other expense reports.
- Support meetings and events, including catering, room setup, and technology.
- Assist with foundation-related scheduling and grant-related meetings.
- Assist with project coordination.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting a CEO, C-Suite Executive, principal, or private family office.
- Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and proactive (anticipates needs).
- Strong written communication and polished email skills.
- Tech-savvy with MS Office Suite, Outlook, Teams, Zoom; comfortable on both Mac and PC.
- High discretion, professionalism, trustworthiness
- Graciously provides significant support to one principal and additional support to other family members and FO executives.
- Flexibility to support early-morning communication, occasional evenings, and periodic weekend needs.
- Preferably lives within an easy commute of Family Office and residences.

Schedule
- Generally, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Flexibility needed for some extended hours - early starts and later finishes
- Willing to respond to texts and call after hours or on weekends as needed
Compensation & Benefits
- $135,000–$175,000 salary (commensurate with experience)
