Daniel Morgan Technology Center is seeking a visionary and results-driven Executive Director of Technology to lead our technology strategy, innovation initiatives, and operational excellence. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing all technology operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital transformation efforts, and emerging technology integration across the organization.
The Executive Director of Technology will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals to ensure sustainable growth, efficiency, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the Center’s mission and long-term objectives.
Advise executive leadership on emerging technologies, risks, and opportunities.
Lead digital transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Establish technology governance, policies, and performance metrics.
Technology Operations & Infrastructure
Oversee IT infrastructure, cloud services, networks, and enterprise systems.
Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of technology services.
Direct technology budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management.
Maintain compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
Lead cybersecurity strategy and risk mitigation initiatives.
Ensure data privacy, system integrity, and business continuity planning.
Oversee security audits, vulnerability assessments, and incident response protocols.
Team Leadership & Development
Build, mentor, and lead high-performing technology teams.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
Recruit and retain top technology talent.
Promote professional development and training programs.
Innovation & Partnerships
Identify and implement emerging technologies to enhance services.
Develop strategic partnerships with technology vendors and industry leaders.
Represent Daniel Morgan Technology Center at industry events and professional forums.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience:
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology management.
Proven track record of leading enterprise-level technology initiatives.
Experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets and cross-functional teams.
Skills & Competencies:
Strategic thinking and executive-level decision-making.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and enterprise systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
