The Hunger Coalition Executive Director

The Hunger Coalition, a prominent nonprofit organization located in Idaho's Wood River
Valley, is seeking an accomplished and visionary Executive Director (ED) to lead our team
and further our mission. We are dedicated to fostering a healthy community by providing
access to good food and addressing the fundamental causes of food insecurity through
collaboration with essential partners.

The ED is responsible for defining the organization's strategic direction, spearheading
fundraising efforts, managing daily operations, leading staff, and building relationships with
donors, volunteers, and key stakeholders within the community.

The ideal candidate possesses exemplary leadership qualities and a proven capacity to
raise funds and set a strategic vision that advances our mission. The ED must promote a
collaborative and inclusive workplace environment. Additionally, they will be responsible for
cultivating and maintaining partnerships with the Board, community partners, government agencies, and local businesses. Experience in hunger relief, food security, or community-
based programming preferred. Spanish proficiency is a plus.
