Chef Tim Love is on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our food offerings at our newest concept, Meraki. . In this role, you'll oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, beautifully presented dishes that delight our guests. Your leadership will inspire creativity, uphold food safety standards, and manage every aspect of food production and service in a dynamic hospitality environment. The ideal candidate is a culinary expert with strong supervisory skills and a flair for fine dining, catering, and banquet services.

Duties

  • Lead and manage the entire kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment through effective supervision and leadership.
  • Oversee menu planning, ensuring a diverse selection that meets guest preferences and dietary requirements while maintaining consistency and quality.
  • Supervise food preparation, cooking, and presentation to uphold high standards of taste, appearance, and safety.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
  • Coordinate banquet events, catering services, and special functions with attention to detail in timing, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
  • Enforce strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and address any operational issues promptly.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a senior culinary management role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Extensive background in food production, fine dining cuisine, catering, and banquet services.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience managing kitchen staff and overseeing large teams effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, food safety protocols, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
  • Experience with menu development, food handling procedures, and dietary accommodations.
  • Skilled in kitchen management tasks such as shift scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance.
