The Opportunity
The Inn at Burklyn is seeking a creative, entrepreneurial Executive Chef to lead our culinary program and join the executive leadership team of a refined, adult-focused boutique inn. This role offers creative autonomy, profit-sharing potential, and the chance to shape a destination dining experience centered on quality, intimacy, and hospitality not volume.

Service Model
Dinner service: Thursday Saturday (in season)
Two seatings per night Tables turn once Capacity: 32-seat main dining room
Opportunity to develop a 24-seat cocktail/tapas venue
Breakfast optional (rotation-based; not required)
Small mid sized private events
Ideal Candidate
5+ years of substantial culinary education and/or professional experience
Proven excellence in menu development and execution
Entrepreneurial spirit and leadership mindset
Comfortable collaborating directly with ownership
Experience in boutique inns, chef-driven restaurants, or destination dining preferred
Interview Process
Final candidates will be invited to Vermont for an immersive experience including a stay at the Inn, hands-on time in the kitchen, and an intimate dinner with the family ownership team.
