Job Summary/Company:  Sparks Group has partnered with a leading community development financial institution seeking an Executive Assistant for a contract to hire opportunity.   If you have 7+ years of experience providing Executive C-level support as well as experience supporting a board this is the ideal role for you.  Apply now to this onsite role and call 703-620-6444


Responsibilities:
    • Provide comprehensive administrative support to C-suite executives, ensuring seamless daily operations.
    • Manage complex, multi-executive calendars with strong judgment, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Partner with the teams of C-suite executives and cross-functional departments to support smooth communication, coordinated workflows, and timely completion of organizational priorities.
    • Schedule internal and external meetings, including coordination of offsite logistics as needed.
    • Coordinate executive travel arrangements, accommodations, transportation, detailed itineraries, and all related logistics, ensuring alignment with designated budgeting requirements.
    • Plan, support, and manage logistics for all-staff meetings and special events (vendor coordination, catering, room reservations, A/V needs, and venue arrangements).
    • Organize, compile, and distribute meeting agendas, pre-reads, and supporting materials for meetings.
    • Attend committee meetings, document accurate minutes, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up.
    • Prepare, edit, and format documents, presentations, reports, and correspondence (PowerPoint, Adobe, Word, etc.).
    • Serve as a liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring timely and professional communication.
    • Oversee daily on-site operations of the Richmond office service as the primary administrative point of contact
    • Manage office supplies and vendor relationships
    • Serve as primary point of contact with the Richmond office landlord and building management teams




Qualifications/Background Profile:
    • Minimum 7 years providing executive-level administrative support required.
    • Experience supporting C-suite or senior executives is mandatory.
    • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university, including business courses, preferred, but not required for candidates with significant prior experience in similar roles.
    • Experience in banking is preferred.
    • Strong verbal and wrriten communication skills
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe 
    • Experience with Board Effect Preferred
    • Strong Research and information-gathering skills
