Description Amazon Ads seeks an Executive Assistant for a position based in Seattle. This role will support two (2) Directors with the possibility of a third. Amazon Ads operates at the intersection of eCommerce and advertising, offering a rich array of digital advertising solutions with the goal of helping our customers find and discover anything they want to buy. We help advertisers reach Amazon customers on Amazon owned and operated sites and on other high-quality sites across the web. We start with the customer and work backwards in everything we do, including advertising. We are looking for a self-motivated, resourceful, tech-savvy problem solver that demonstrates the ability to look around corners, understand business priorities and proactively anticipate needs. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple critical requests across global teams is required. You will have the ability to complete complex tasks quickly and proactively with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the whole picture. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. Integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior executives internal and external to Amazon is essential. This role functions as part of a team of EAs working to facilitate and coordinate meetings, team activities and other projects. The ability to operate independently and collaboratively with a strong sense of ownership, bias for action, and a customer service-oriented approach is key to success. This role requires five (2) days a week in office. Key job responsibilities - Manage complex calendars, including coordinating all aspects of scheduling and logistics for internal and external meetings such as booking meeting rooms for locations with multiple attendees - Manage detailed domestic and international travel itineraries, as well as process expense reports - Coordinate event logistics, including catering, accommodations, AV and presentation materials (e.g. global team meetings, annual planning offsites, morale-building activities, etc.) - Plan space for the team and facilitate office moves such as confirming team locations and updating with new locations, helping onsite exec with packing as needed, etc. - Partner closely and proactively with Finance, HR, Recruiting, and EAs throughout the Amazon Ads org - Attend key team meetings, track and help drive completion of key deliverables, and follow up on open items with owners - Identify internal and external approaches to solving problems in a creative way A day in the life A typical day will involve managing a high volume of emails, responding to requests in a timely manner, and working with other Executive Assistants to schedule complex meetings. This role will also partner closely with executives and business partners on projects and deliverables. About the team PubTech (Publisher Technology) builds and operates extensible services that empower publishers (1P and 3P) to improve the monetization of their customer experiences, along with the experiences themselves. We bias toward standards based and flexible designs that allow publishers the ability to invent on top of our solutions and to interoperate well with other advertising technology providers; both internal and external. We operate engaged, autonomous teams of functional experts, with clear visions, goals, and success measures. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
