Events Manager

Jonathan's the Rub's newest location is in Bridgeland, Cypress, TX, and we are seeking an exceptional Events Manager to take the helm of in-house events/private dining at our exciting new location. Jonathan's the Rub has built a loyal following on its commitment to chef-driven comfort cuisine, impeccable service, and an unforgettable dining experience that strikes the perfect balance between sophistication and warmth.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional to assist in establishing this new location as a premier dining destination in Cypress.

As the Events Manager you will be integral to success of the location. You will be responsible for all private events bookings and execution as well as floor management responsibilities including:

• Team Leadership & Development: Assisting in training, and mentoring a high-performing front-of-house team that embodies the Jonathan's the Rub standard of excellence.
  

• Integration: Communicating with all departments through the event booking process to ensure smooth execution.
  

• Guest Experience: Cultivating a warm, welcoming, and memorable environment for every guest, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring consistent food and beverage quality.
  

• Community Engagement: Building local relationships as a representative of the restaurant within the Bridgeland and Cypress community to drive local engagement and business.
  

• Minimum of 3-5 years of Events Manager experience in a high-volume, full-service, upscale or fine-dining restaurant setting.
  

• Exceptional leadership and communication skills and desire to give our clients the best experience possible.
  

• Deep knowledge of food, wine, and spirits. and the dynamics of booking and executing private events.
  

• A genuine desire to deliver a hospitality experience that exceeds expectations.
  

• The drive, initiative, and resourcefulness to successfully secure private dining clients.
  

• Knowledge and experience in restaurant management.
  

• Knowledge and experience using FOCUS POS, Homebase, Google Drive, OpenTable, TripleSeat.
