What you’ll take on
- Act as the on-site connection point between field operations and other departments, ensuring clear communication and smooth handoffs.
- Interpret and explain plans: blueprints, load calcs, and single-line diagrams; annotate site maps for conduit runs and equipment placement.
- Install single- and three-phase equipment in alignment with engineering direction, the NEC, and OSHA requirements.
- Conduct site readiness surveys and load studies as project needs dictate.
- Lay out and install conduit and electrical gear with minimal oversight; verify locations and compliance with drawings and code.
- Proactively identify hazards, uphold safety protocols, and escalate concerns to management promptly.
- Maintain readiness: arrive timely, equipped, and with a can-do mindset; keep the jobsite orderly and complete daily time entry via mobile app.
- Coach and support teammates to elevate overall crew performance.
- Expand your expertise in the rapidly growing EV industry.
What you bring
- Active State of California General Electrician (Journeyman) license
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience
- Experience leading or guiding crews of 4 or more
- Deep understanding of 208–480V, three-phase systems—proper sizing, placement, and code compliance
- Strong command of the NEC and local electrical codes
- Clear, professional communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

- Travel to job sites up to 2 hours from warehouse/meeting points on a daily basis
