We are looking for a dynamic, highly-skilled Permanent Estimator/Preconstruction Manager to join our team. This is a key role within our organization and involves a high level of responsibility and strategic thinking. As an Estimator/Preconstruction Manager, you will be integral to the planning, development, and execution of our construction projects. This position requires a deep understanding of the construction industry, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead and manage teams effectively. If you are a seasoned professional with a proven track record in the construction industry and a passion for excellence, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
1. Review and evaluate cost estimates and manage preconstruction phases of projects.
2. Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
3. Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress, and cost tracking reports.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project completion.
5. Analyze drawings and specifications to determine the total cost of a project.
6. Coordinate with the project management team to monitor project costs, schedules, and performance.
7. Implement and manage preconstruction strategies and plans.
8. Oversee and conduct risk assessments and propose risk mitigation strategies.
9. Conduct site visits and gather all necessary data to prepare detailed cost estimates.
10. Provide guidance and direction to the preconstruction team, ensuring that project objectives are met.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field.
3. Proven experience in project management and preconstruction management.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Exceptional ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
6. Advanced proficiency in construction software programs.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
11. Proven ability to negotiate and work with clients and subcontractors.
12. Knowledge of the latest health and safety regulations.
13. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
14. Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
