Job Details
Job Details / Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects
Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to compute material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to clarify scope and refine estimates
Develop bid proposals and present estimates to leadership and stakeholders
Perform take-offs, quantity surveys, and value engineering assessments
Maintain and update estimating databases, templates, and historical cost data
Support pre-construction planning and post-bid analysis
Qualifications:
5+ years of progressive experience as a Construction Estimator, preferably in commercial construction
Proven track record of preparing accurate bids for projects of varying size and complexity
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings and specifications
Proficiency in estimating software and tools
