This key role involves crafting precise cost projections, evaluating project specifications, and collaborating with project managers and field teams to achieve successful outcomes.

The perfect candidate brings a wealth of experience in construction cost analysis, a deep understanding of construction documentation, and the ability to juggle multiple bids while ensuring precision and adherence to deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop comprehensive cost projections for construction and waterproofing assignments.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand scope and requirements.
- Manage invitations to bid, requests for information, and proposal paperwork.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to align on scope, labor, and materials needed.
- Monitor and estimate project alterations and change orders.
- Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and negotiate advantageous terms.
- Keep meticulous records of all bidding and projection activities.
- Foster strong connections with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or technical education is desirable.

Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in estimating within the realms of construction, waterproofing, or associated trades.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience are considered.

Skills:
- Solid grasp of construction practices and jargon.
- Proficient in interpreting engineering plans and drawings.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with estimation or integrated billing software is a plus.
- Demonstrates excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
