Long-Term Leadership Role for a Distinguished Private Estate Professional

A prominent executive couple with residences in Palm Beach, FL and Southampton, NY is seeking an exceptional Estate Manager to join their established team and lead the seamless operation of two luxury homes. This is a role for a mature, poised professional who thrives in high-standards environments, anticipates needs, and ensures excellence at every turn.

We are looking for a career Estate Manager who brings deep experience in private service, outstanding leadership capability, and the desire to make a long-term commitment to a family that values loyalty, discretion, and consistency.

The principals also welcome applicants with a significant management background at a luxury hotel brand.

About the Role

The Estate Manager serves as the principals' primary point of contact and the operational leader for all aspects of both properties. This individual will:

Lead the Household Teams

  • Provide strong, empathetic leadership with an "open-door" approach
  • Set expectations, manage performance, and support the well-established, positive, professional culture
  • Build schedules, ensure proper coverage across both homes, and oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and reviews
  • Implement systems, protocols, and structure across all household operations

Oversee Property Operations & Renovation Projects

  • Direct day-to-day operations for both residences
  • Manage vendors, maintenance cycles, seasonal preparations, and capital projects
  • Oversee renovations, construction timelines, budgets, and quality control
  • Maintain and refine household manuals, inventories, and operational systems

Be a Trusted Partner to the Principals

  • Prepare for weekly meetings with the principal
  • Deliver reporting around budgets, expenditures, household planning, and project status
  • Prevent issues before they arise and ensure the principals' preferences are upheld consistently across properties

Travel Requirements

  • Regular travel between Palm Beach and Southampton
  • Extended presence in Southampton during the summer season
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours based on the principals' schedules

Qualifications Sought

  • 710+ years of Estate Management experience in distinguished private households or luxury hospitality leadership
  • A proven leader who has successfully managed and mentored domestic teams
  • Strong background overseeing residential construction or renovation projects
  • Tech-savvy, highly organized, and strong with systems, documentation, and process creation
  • A polished, professional presence with excellent communication skills
  • Calm under pressure and naturally proactive
  • A "big-picture" thinker with the maturity and judgment to serve as a true right hand to the principals
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work legally in the U.S.
  • Butler or service-forward skills are appreciated but not required. The priority is exceptional leadership, operational mastery, and the ability to elevate and unify both residences under consistent, high-touch standards.

Schedule

  • Generally, 5 days per week with two consecutive days off.
  • Hours will vary somewhat depending on the season.
  • The principals are very considerate with their staff and have a record of tenured and happy employees.
  • Generally, 8 months in Palm Beach and 4 in Southampton

Compensation:

  • Compensation of $300,000 to $400,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience
  • Lovely private housing provided in Southampton
  • Generous benefits package includes medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), PTO, paid holidays and an annual discretionary bonus.
  • The clients are happy to discussion relocation to Palm Beach for the right candidate.
