ESOP Implementation & Services Manager

Our nationally recognized investment banking practice is seeking an Implementation & Services Manager to serve as a primary point of contact for our clients, post-ESOP formation. This liaison will maintain frequent contact with employee-owned companies nationwide as they launch and grow their employee stock ownership plans. Ideal candidates must understand basic elements of ESOP compliance, anticipate potential opportunities, triage issues, and properly align internal and external resources with a client’s needs.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients upon completion of their ESOP transactions.
- Track their implementation and plan management processes, providing basic best practices and connecting them with internal and external resources as necessary.
- Anticipate and resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct regular check-ins to assess client satisfaction and identify opportunities for further support.
Tasks:
- Maintain consistent communication with dozens of clients while tracking their key ESOP-lifecycle events.
- Provide basic guidance to clients' management and accounting teams with ESOP rollouts, transitions, and annual compliance activities.
- Gather and file company financial performance data.
- Offer CSG resources to provide financial analysis and investment banking advisory services when necessary.
- Build durable relations with outside advisors, including ESOP trustees, TPAs, and counsel.
- Develop formal resources and management protocols.
- Identify new engagement opportunities for the CSG deal team.
- Periodic travel for on-site client meetings.
- Represent CSG at selected ESOP industry events.
