Escrow Officer

The Escrow Officer is responsible for below specific duties.
Your specific duties will include:
- Handle all aspects of settlement transactions, including the preparation and approval of Settlement Statements; preparation and coordination of deeds; and verification of the accuracy of loan documents, insurance documentation, seller statements, and contracts or sales agreements.
- Obtain signatures for closing transactions, explain all executed documents as needed, and facilitate questions and answers between all parties to the transaction.
- Follow Escrow Accounting Business Practice Guidelines, including but not limited to the collection and disbursement of funds, while ensuring compliance with required State and Federal Good Funds statutes.
- Review escrow quality assurance reports and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure compliance with required business policies.
- Ensure the timely and accurate flow of information and documentation from the settlement team to the Recording and Accounting Departments.
- Minimum 1-3 years Escrow Officer experience.
- TX Escrow License required.
- Notary Public required.
- Ability to close at the table.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
