Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for projects located in and around Lebanon, TN.  This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $40/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Concrete Curb Machine Operator, Asphalt Milling Machine Operator, Motor Grader Operator, and/or Asphalt Roller Operator and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

• Concrete Curb Machine Operator – up to $32.00/hour

  • Operate Curb & Gutter Power Curber Machine

  • Read and interpret architectural plans, grades, slopes, and drainage specs

  • Set forms, string lines, and assist with concrete pours

  • Finish concrete surfaces to required textures

  • Work with and guide crew members; ensure pour accuracy and surface quality

  Requirements:

  • Prior experience operating concrete curb machines

  • Proficient in concrete finishing and forming

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Asphalt Milling Machine Operator – up to $32.00/hour

  • Set up, operate, and maintain Wirtgen Milling Machines (or similar)

  • Mill asphalt surfaces to precise grades and elevations

  • Coordinate with other crews, vendors, and subs

  • Understand paving process: grades, prep work, compaction, specs, etc.

  Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of asphalt milling experience

  • Ability to operate Skid Steer, Roller, or Paver is a plus

  • Solid understanding of DOT and commercial paving standards

• Motor Grader Operator – Up to $40.00/hour

  • Operate John Deere 622GP or similar motor grader

  • Perform rough and finish grading for asphalt and concrete base prep

  • Install and grade base stone to spec

  • Read and follow site plans to ensure proper grade, slope, and drainage

  Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience on a motor grader

  • Must have base stone experience

  • Ability to operate additional equipment (Skid Steer, Paver, Roller) preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Asphalt Roller Operator – up to $32.00/hour

  • Perform setup and cleanup tasks on site

  • Operate roller equipment in accordance with DOT, local, and commercial specs

  • Use specific rolling patterns to meet top-quality paving standards

  • Conduct pre-use equipment inspections

  • Assist with directing traffic to maintain a safe worksite

  • Lift up to 70 lbs. and work on variable terrain

  • Provide general labor support to the paving crew as needed

  • Maintain professional conduct with clients and coworkers

  • Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• • 2–3 years minimum experience in asphalt paving required

  • Experience operating Wacker or CAT rollers required

  • Ability to operate a paver or skid steer is a plus

  • Must be willing to work weekends

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
