Equipment Mechanic – Plastic Division
2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Equipment Mechanic to join our client's Plastic Division. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative production environment where teamwork, quality, and safety are top priorities. This position has the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
Position Summary
The Equipment Mechanic will support shop floor production by setting up and maintaining thermoforming equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring machinery operates efficiently to meet production goals. This role works closely with team members to promote unity, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

• Set up and troubleshoot thermoforming equipment
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure product standards are met
• Read and understand instructions
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all safety protocols
• Maintain and repair shop floor production machinery
• Prioritize tasks to minimize downtime and keep production running
• Comply with OSHA and company safety guidelines

• High school diploma or GED required
• Vocational or technical training preferred
• Ability to read and understand instructions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
• Willingness to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
• Must meet client hiring qualifications
• Successful completion of drug screening and background check required

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ingenuity and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with plastics manufacturing equipment (a plus)
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems (a plus)
• Familiarity with OSHA and general safety standards (a plus)
