Position Overview
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Epicor Kinetic Technical Consultant to support a full ERP implementation, transitioning from Sage to Epicor Kinetic. This role will be responsible for delivering technical solutions, system customization, data migration, and integrations to ensure a successful deployment.

This is a hands-on role ideal for a consultant who thrives in complex ERP transformations and can collaborate effectively with both functional teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical development and support for Epicor Kinetic implementation

  • Design and build customizations, dashboards, and reports

  • Develop and manage data migration using DMT (Data Management Tool)

  • Create and maintain User Defined Fields (UDFs)

  • Develop BAQs and dashboards to support business reporting needs

  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data structures

  • Build and support integrations with third-party systems (e.G., Bartender, WMS)

  • Support system testing, UAT, and go-live readiness

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the implementation lifecycle

  • Participate in on-site sessions during critical project phases
Required Experience

  • Strong experience with Epicor Kinetic / Epicor ERP technical development

  • Hands-on expertise with:

    • DMT (Data Management Tool)

    • UDFs (User Defined Fields)

    • BAQs (Business Activity Queries)

    • Dashboards and reporting

    • Customizations (Classic & Kinetic Application Studio preferred)

  • Advanced SQL / T-SQL skills

  • Strong development experience with C# / .NET

  • Experience building and supporting system integrations
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience integrating:

    • Bartender (labeling systems)

    • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

  • Experience with:

    • REST APIs / Web Services

    • BPMs (Business Process Management)

    • Data migration from Sage to Epicor Kinetic

  • Understanding of manufacturing or distribution environments
Project Details

  • Full ERP implementation (Sage →Epicor Kinetic)

  • Estimated 20+ hours per week, with flexibility based on project phase

  • On-site presence required during key milestones (design, testing, go-live)

  • Target Go-Live: December 2027
