Job Title: Epic Certified Analyst (Ambulatory or Cadence)

Position Type: Contract
Location: 100% Remote (Must be able to work East Coast hours)
Equipment: Consultant must use their own equipment
Duration: Project expected through July (may extend or conclude earlier depending on second wave go-live)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Epic Certified Analyst (Ambulatory or Cadence) to support department activation and operational readiness initiatives in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role plays a key part in build, configuration, and go-live support activities across both acute and outpatient settings.

Unlike traditional organizational models where Facility Structure is coordinated solely through Grand Central, this team supports a broader application scope to ensure seamless cross-functional department readiness.

The ideal candidate must have active Epic certification (with certification dates included on resume) and strong hands-on build experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support build activities for both acute and outpatient departments
  • Configure and maintain:
    • Facility Structure
    • Work queues
    • Provider linking
    • InBasket pools
    • Immunizations
    • Department records and related build components
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with application teams to prepare departments for go-live
  • Ensure build aligns with organizational workflows and operational requirements
  • Participate in testing, validation, and go-live support activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to department configuration
  • Maintain documentation for build standards, workflows, and processes

Qualifications:

  • Active Epic Certification in Ambulatory or Cadence
  • Experience with Facility Structure and/or Grand Central build
  • Strong understanding of acute and outpatient workflows
  • Experience configuring work queues, provider records, InBasket pools, and department settings
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Prior healthcare IT implementation or optimization experience preferred
