Job Details

We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our real estate and environmental practice in a part-time counsel capacity. This role is well suited for a senior practitioner looking for a flexible schedule while continuing to engage in sophisticated advisory and transactional work.

What You’ll Do:

Advise clients on environmental and land use matters, including permitting, zoning, and regulatory compliance
Navigate local and state approval processes and provide strategic guidance on development-related issues
Counsel on environmental risks and liabilities in connection with real estate and business transactions
Support real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development projects
Provide insight on environmental regulatory frameworks, including matters involving federal and state statutes and agency actions
Collaborate with attorneys across transactional practices, including corporate and construction-related matters

What We’re Looking For:

10+ years of experience in environmental and real estate law
Strong working knowledge of Massachusetts environmental regulations and permitting processes
Experience advising on land use, zoning, and regulatory strategy
Familiarity with environmental risk assessment in transactional contexts
Background in real estate transactions or development work is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Admission to the Massachusetts Bar required
