Salary Range: $59,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and policies to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a safe work environment.
• Conduct regular site inspections, hazard assessments, and internal audits to identify risks and ensure adherence to EHS standards.
• Investigate all EHS incidents, near misses, and accidents, determining root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Deliver comprehensive EHS training programs to employees on topics such as hazard communication, lockout/tagout, and emergency response.
• Manage hazardous waste streams, ensuring proper storage, labeling, disposal, and record-keeping in accordance with environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate EHS records, prepare regulatory reports, and track key performance indicators to monitor EHS performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
• Proficiency in conducting hazard assessments, risk analysis, incident investigations, and EHS training programs.
• Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Bonus Qualifications

• ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 Internal Auditor certification.
• Experience with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Sphera).
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Industrial Hygiene monitoring experience (e.g., noise, air quality, chemical exposure).
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
