Salary Range: $64,000 - $97,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and risk analyses to identify and mitigate potential EHS risks in manufacturing operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures specific to the manufacturing environment.
- Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees, covering topics such as hazardous waste management, lockout/tagout, and emergency response.
- Manage hazardous waste streams and ensure proper disposal in accordance with environmental regulations and company standards.
- Prepare and submit required EHS reports to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall safety culture and environmental performance of the facility.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards.
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs (e.g., LOTO, confined space, hazcom, waste management).
- Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Strong communication and training delivery skills for all levels of employees.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish).
- Experience with specific EHS management software platforms (e.g., Gensuite, Cority, Intelex).
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification.
- Advanced data analysis and visualization skills (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
