Salary Range: $61,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular EHS inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards in manufacturing operations.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for accidents, near misses, and environmental excursions.
- Design and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors on topics such as LOTO, confined space, and chemical safety.
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air emissions, wastewater discharge, and other environmental permits and reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate EHS records, prepare regulatory reports, and track key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and support to management and employees on EHS best practices and regulatory compliance.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of progressive Environmental Health & Safety experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations applicable to manufacturing.
- Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, EHS program development, and delivering employee training.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence EHS culture and drive continuous improvement.
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency with EHS management software (e.g., Gensuite, Intelex, Sphera).
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with OSHA Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) or similar world-class safety initiatives.
- Certified instructor for First Aid/CPR/AED or other emergency response training.
