Salary Range: $67,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular EHS inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead incident investigations for accidents, near misses, and environmental excursions, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees, covering topics such as hazard communication, LOTO, and emergency response.
- Manage hazardous waste streams, ensuring proper segregation, storage, labeling, and disposal in accordance with EPA regulations.
- Maintain accurate EHS records, prepare required regulatory reports (e.g., OSHA 300 logs, air emissions), and track key performance indicators.
- Support the site's emergency preparedness and response plans, including conducting drills and maintaining equipment.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge and practical application of OSHA, EPA, and other federal/state EHS regulations.
- Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills to foster a strong safety culture.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM are highly desirable.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Proficiency with EHS management software (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Sphera).
- Advanced environmental or industrial hygiene certifications (e.g., CHMM, CIH).
- Experience developing and delivering engaging EHS training programs.
