Role Overview
The Entry-Level Venture Capital Analyst supports venture capital investment teams across the full investment lifecycle, with a strong focus on learning, exposure, and execution support. Key Responsibilities
Source and evaluate early-stage startup opportunities across priority sectors
Conduct initial research on founders, products, markets, and business models
Support due diligence efforts, including traction analysis, competitive landscape reviews, and financial fundamentals
Build and maintain basic financial and capitalization models for startups
Assist with investment memo preparation and investment committee materials
Track portfolio company KPIs and support internal reporting processes
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and venture ecosystems
Attend demo days, pitch events, and startup ecosystem gatherings
Support LP reporting, fundraising materials, and internal data management
Collaborate closely with partners, associates, founders, and operators
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, computer science, or a related analytical discipline
Strong interest in startups, entrepreneurship, and venture capital investing
Internship or entry-level experience in investment banking, consulting, startups, venture capital, private equity, or strategy is a plus
Solid analytical and quantitative skills; comfort with Excel and presentations
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
High curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn
Comfortable engaging with founders and fast-moving environments
