Job Summary

We are seeking a QC Microbiology Lab Analyst responsible for performing microbiology assays to support GMP, clinical, and development product release. This role focuses on QC microbiology testing and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The position supports ongoing operations to meet product release timelines.

Job Description

• Support day-to-day operations in QC microbiology laboratories
• Conduct microbiological tests on in-process samples, including growth promotion testing
• Ensure all testing activities comply with SOPs, GMP, regulatory guidelines, and safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment
• Demonstrate ability to learn new skills and achieve proficiency
• Support method verifications for clinical and commercial products

Skills Required

• 1–2 years of relevant laboratory experience (preferred, especially in pharmaceutical or biotech industry and/or GMP environment)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to follow written procedures
• Team-oriented with flexibility and efficiency
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience working in a GMP environment
• Ability to perform tasks using aseptic techniques

Education/Training/Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a drug screening and criminal background checks
• Work Start Time: 08:00 AM
• Willing to work onsite
• Ability to work 40 hours per week with potential overtime as needed
• Flexibility to occasionally work weekends or holidays
• Local candidates preferred
• Comfortable working in a lab environment with required PPE (provided)
• Open to learning hands-on microbiological assays
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, long-standing team environment

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary: $30.00 to $38.00 per hour. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors.
