Hybrid 3 days in the office, 2 days home
Entry Level Marketing Specialist
Providence, RI
Currently seeking an entry level Marketing Specialist to be a highly valuable member of the team with a diverse skill set. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications and have at least 1-2 years of work experience.
Responsibilities of the Marketing Specialist
- Support marketing and sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information; and all administrative and clerical duties necessary.
- Assist in the creation of press releases, feature articles and brochures.
- Create and edit documents using Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of company marketing strategy, including advertising as well as the planning and execution of trade shows.
- Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; and verifying receipt.
- Maintain all company social media tools.
Requirements of the Marketing Specialist
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient with all of Microsoft Office Suite as well as the Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to proofread content and editing
- Professional attitude and attire
- Ability to multitask in a business environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Strict attention to details
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
