Entry Level Hotel Sales

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, sales-minded, lead-generating person who loves to meet new people. This is an amazing opportunity for someone new to the sales or hospitality industry. Will to train and mentor the right candidate. The goal of this position is to have a dedicated person to generate new business for our two hotels located in the Alpharetta, Georgia market. This includes cold-calling businesses, online networking, and visiting local guests to uncover new opportunities. Prior hotel sales experience is preferred but not required. A positive attitude and attention to detail are a must.    

Overview-

The Hotel Sales Manager’s primary responsibility is to generate group business via direct marketing, social media, cold calls, and networking. The ideal candidate will be driven, ambitious, and motivated to meet and exceed sales goals.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prospect for new business through solicitation, networking, and cold calling.
• Improve hotel visibility by conducting outside sales calls, attending trade shows, and market segment-related events
• Create marketing promotions and campaigns involving direct mail, social media, ads, etc.
• Meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual targeted sales goals and profit margins. 
• Maintain an active list of accounts to ensure continuous relationship development
• Meet regularly with the Director of Sales to develop and execute monthly focused and aggressive action plans
• Communicate with business partners on upcoming group needs, VIP clients, and meeting functions.
• Maintain and grow repeat business through client satisfaction and loyalty.
• Maintain knowledge of industry and trends in the market, particularly amongst competitors.
