Entry level Geotechnical / Civil Engineer (0-3 years)

Growing environmental consulting company has an opening for a Civil / Geotechnical Engineer with 0-3 years of experience. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply!

Duties:

• Coordinate civil engineering design, permitting, and construction administration duties for solid waste, industrial byproducts, mining, and remediation projects
• Provide construction oversite and documentation (mainly local projects)
• Prepare models and drawings for drainage, grading, and utilities (using AutoCAD Civil 3D)
• Prepare various technical calculations
• Gather/sample environmental media (soil, water, air, etc.)
• Conduct construction staking using GPS survey equipment
• Interface with clients, contractors, vendors, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable “engineering” discipline – Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering
• 0-3 years of post-graduate experience – entry level candidates are encouraged to apply!
• Coursework or experience in geotechnical modeling (slope stability, seepage, groundwater flow)
• AutoCAD Civil 3D training or experience
• GeoStudio geotechnical modeling software a plus
• EIT registration or ability to obtain soon

Salary: $65-80K
