Day-to-Day Duties of the Entry Level Customer Service Representative
Respond to inbound inquiries from Lumen customers via phone, email, or chat—providing clear, accurate information about services, plans, and billing.
Resolve service-related issues quickly and professionally, escalating complex cases to internal teams while maintaining Lumen’s standard of excellence.
Process account updates, service orders, and returns with precision and timeliness to ensure smooth customer experiences across Lumen’s platforms.
Document all customer interactions and transactions using CRM tools to support service tracking, feedback analysis, and campaign performance.
Collaborate with internal departments—including billing, technical support, and operations—to streamline service delivery and improve customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For in an Entry Level Customer Service Representative
High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related fields is a plus.
0–2 years of experience in customer service, technical support, or telecom-related roles—especially in fast-paced, service-driven environments.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain Lumen’s services clearly and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
Positive attitude and adaptability, with a willingness to learn new systems, absorb product knowledge, and contribute to a team that values growth and collaboration.
Comfortable using CRM platforms, ticketing systems, and chat tools, with basic proficiency in navigating service dashboards and logging customer interactions.
