Entry-Level CNC Machine Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Entry-Level CNC Machine Operators for a company based in Clearwater, FL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while contributing to a leading manufacturer of precision machine components.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are mechanically inclined and passionate about precision machining.
Pay Rate:
$18.50 per hour or more, depending on experience
Schedule and Hours:
Monday to Friday - overtime is mandatory.
- 1st shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
- 2nd shift: 3:15 pm – 11:45 pm
CNC Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machining equipment while producing quality parts.
- Learn and run 3-axis CNC machines and advance into Takamaz equipment.
- Perform tool changes, adjustments, and minor repairs/maintenance to equipment.
- Follow established processes, work instructions, and safety standards.
- Inspect parts using calipers and micrometers to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Read and apply blueprint specifications as training progresses.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
CNC Machine Operator Qualifications & Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with machinery (lathes preferred).
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
- Understanding of calipers, micrometers, and blueprint reading.
- Ability to consistently run quality parts and follow documented processes
- Interest in growing into a setup machinist role
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
