We're Hiring: Engineering Technician!

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to support our engineering team in designing, testing, and maintaining technical systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with engineering tools, troubleshooting capabilities, and a strong foundation in technical problem-solving to ensure optimal performance of our equipment and processes.

Role: Engineering Technician

Nature of Work

Performs work installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing machinery and electronic equipment using any combination
of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or computer technologies.

Essential Job Functions

∙Sets up and maintains production/quality control equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and
standard operating procedures.
∙Diagnoses issues and makes appropriate repairs/takes necessary steps to ensure machinery and equipment runs correctly with
limited production down time.
∙Calibrates or adjusts equipment to ensure quality production and testing capabilities using appropriate tools.
∙Adheres to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.
∙Collaborates with employees to ensure necessary information is collected and communicated to ensure limited production
down time.
∙Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Preparation Needed

∙Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma, trade or technical school certification;
bachelor’s or associate’s degree preferred; some related experience.
∙Strong mechanical and technical skills; and, ability to quickly learn new programs, machinery, and equipment.
∙Good verbal and written communication skills; and, the ability to read and interpret documentation such as safety rules, work
process instructions, memos, etc.
∙Ability to follow instruction, accept corrections, contribute ideas, and work well as part of a team.
∙May be required to work overtime as needed to meet department goals.

Job Location and Conditions

∙Duties performed primarily in a high volume manufacturing environment, working with both manual and automated
equipment.
∙Duties performed in sometimes extreme temperatures (heat and cold).
∙Performs work safely in accordance with department safety procedures. Operates equipment safely and reports any unsafe
work condition or practice to supervisor.
