APPLE INC has the following available for Engineering Program Lead  (REQ#200641144) in Seattle, Washington. Drive and ship all aspects of multiple large cross functional programs and features. Oversee all aspects for multiple programs from customer engagement, scope, prioritization, road mapping, analysis, deployment, risk mitigation and timelines. Manage senior management reporting and escalation. Manage implementing technology which underlies iCloud product and platforms. Act as a partner in design and architecture discussions. Drive strategic initiatives and quality aftercare of shipped features including troubleshooting operational and security issues. Define business functional and reporting requirements. Organize and participate in requirement and design brainstorming and act as partner to guide design and implementation of new features. Own overall cross functional program schedules including development on iCloud and other Apple groups (client teams, device teams, other business teams) and backend reporting system. Collaborate with IS&T, Legal, Platform, Operations and other organizations in Apple. $163,300 - $245,800/yr.

 

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Project Management, Security Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

 

2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:

 

  1. Using software delivery ensuring verification of reliability and compliance review workflows.
  2. Using Jira or Radar to track resource assignments, including experience, collaborating, and assigning tasks.
  3. Identifying specific tools & implementing Agile methodologies to deliver end-to-end integration and validation of platforms.
  4. Using WRIKE to track project timelines and dependencies.
  5. Defining and implementing quality metrics and key performance indicators to drive design changes.
  6. Utilizing Test planning for platform software.
  7. Developing verification processes to audit and analyze test coverage of large-scale software system.
  8. Selecting tools for managing the execution of validation activities.
  9. Driving the execution of cross-functional pieces of the software system.
  10. Driving engineering teams to document and execute against comprehensive designs.
  11. Preparing technical presentations for senior leadership highlighting issues that delay shipping or degrade user experience

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $163,300 - $245,800/yr., and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
