Our client, is in the electroplating industry is seeking a Engineering Manufacturing Manager to join their team. As a Engineering Manufacturing Manager, you will be part of the Plating and Manufacturing department. The ideal candidate will have cross functional experience, process improvement experience and experience working in a small company, less than 100 employees, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Engineering Manufacturing Manager
Location: Palo Alto, CA
Pay Range: $160,000 - $220,000
What’s the Job?
- Oversee 40+ direct and indirect reports
- Train, Mentor, and develop team members
- On the floor most of the time
- Oversee and support electroplating operations, including troubleshooting bath chemistry, equipment, and process issues
- Improve throughput, reduce rework, and increase overall yield
What’s Needed?
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in plating, machining, or manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of electroplating processes and shop operations
- Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role managing teams on the production floor
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment, processes, and quality issues in real time
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
