QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Training within the manufacturing environment with responsibility for developing and improving production processes. Management and leadership experience of engineers and hourly machine operators is required.
  • Technical: Experience in the use of statistical techniques for improving process capability, process optimization, and control.
  • Availability: Able to be reachable by phone and onsite if/as/when needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Safety First: Ensure the safety of self and others by diligently adhering to safe work practices and procedures.
  • Layout & Efficiency: Establish equipment layout for expansion and efficiency.- Project Management: Establish and adhere to tight design schedules and cost budgets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain open communication with Maintenance, Operations, and Senior Management.
  • Production Support: Assist production engineers in troubleshooting day-to-day production problems and writing or modifying quality work instructions.
  • Team Leadership: Handle management responsibilities including coaching and mentoring, corrective/disciplinary action, ADP payroll, training, and performance reviews.
