The Engineering Manager will lead a team of five engineers and oversee the execution of multiple capital expenditure (CapEx) projects throughout the year. The ideal candidate is an experienced project manager and people leader who excels at driving execution while developing and empowering a technical team.

Description

People Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing team of engineers.
  • Set clear expectations, establish accountability, and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
  • Remove obstacles that hinder team performance or project progress.
  • Support professional growth and ensure strong collaboration across the team.
Project & Technical Leadership
  • Manage and execute 3-4 CapEx projects per year, overseeing initial scoping, planning, budgeting, execution, and closeout.
  • Maintain comprehensive project plans, identify risks, and ensure timely delivery within budget.
  • Coordinate with operations, maintenance, supply chain, and external partners to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment with safety, quality, and operational standards.
Operational & Business Integration
  • Learn the business and operate as a strategic partner to operations leadership.
  • Identify and champion opportunities for process improvements, equipment upgrades, and operational efficiencies.
  • Contribute to long‑term engineering and manufacturing technology strategies.
  • Promote best practices in equipment reliability, process optimization, and manufacturing excellence.

Profile

  • 8-10 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, industrial, or related technical environments.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role, managing engineering teams or technical staff.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects with strong execution discipline.
  • Experience leading CapEx initiatives and implementing new equipment, systems, or production processes.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to drive accountability, influence cross‑functional teams, and motivate diverse engineering talent.
  • Strong problem‑solving capability and a proactive mindset.

Job Offer
