Job Title: Engineering Data Specialist
Location: Warner Robins, GA
Duration: 12-month contract with potential for extension
Pay Rate: $46 per hour
Shifts: First Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Engineering Data Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical data analysis, logistics support, and technical publication development. This role supports the development and maintenance of technical documentation and logistics data for aircraft systems and components, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with customer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing, analyzing, collecting, and storing technical data elements and specifications.
- Support evaluations and recommendations on product supportability and maintenance planning for subsystems.
- Assist with logistics support analysis (LSA), identifying support candidates and producing detailed LSA records and reports.
- Determine spares provisioning requirements, stocking levels, and replacement part planning for single-customer contracts.
- Prepare technical documentation for the operation, testing, and maintenance of aircraft systems and components.
- Develop publication elements across all maintenance levels, including flight manuals, troubleshooting procedures, IPBs, schematics, and installation/removal procedures.
- Resolve data inconsistencies and gaps in source documentation.
- Provide markups for illustrations and update publication content based on changes in source data or review outcomes.
- Analyze workflows, maintenance concepts, task documentation, and design impact to support accurate publications.
- Validate assumptions in source data and conduct peer reviews for technical accuracy and compliance with format standards.
- Support customer verification reviews and incorporate necessary revisions.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with eXtensible Markup Language (XML)
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex technical and maintenance data
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Contenta content management system
Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor's degree) and typically 3 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master's degree + 1 year of related work experience, or 7+ years of related work experience).
Qualifications:
- Background in aerospace, defense, or military equipment systems strongly preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
