Support Engineering Data Specialist

Work Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL (100% Onsite)
Assignment Length: 12 Months (with potential extension)
Start Date: October 24, 2025
Shift: 1st shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Full-Time
Pay Rate: $47.00/hour (W-2)
Travel: Occasional domestic travel (not frequent)


Position Overview

We are seeking a Support Engineering Data Specialist to join our Engineering team in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This role supports engineering and technical operations by managing, maintaining, and analyzing engineering data and documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and accessibility. The specialist will work onsite full-time, supporting engineers, project teams, and management by streamlining data processes and enabling effective decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and maintain engineering and technical data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.

  • Provide technical documentation support for engineering teams, including data entry, updates, and reporting.

  • Analyze data trends to identify discrepancies and support corrective actions.

  • Support engineers by preparing and distributing data packages, reports, and project documentation.

  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of engineering records across multiple systems.

  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives in engineering documentation and data management.

  • Participate in on-the-job training (OJT) and formal training as required.


Basic Qualifications (Required)

  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field) OR equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in engineering data support, documentation, or related role.

  • Proficiency with data management tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • U.S. Person status (per 22 C.F.R. §120.15: U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Experience working in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments.

  • Familiarity with engineering documentation standards and practices.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with specialized engineering data systems, PLM, or ERP tools.
